Unless you live on campus and have a meal plan, most college students live out of take out boxes and only use their microwave in the pathetic kitchen their equipped with. I being a fellow college student, will now supply you with simple recipes that are easy and fun to make. You will soon learn that I am obsessed with pasta and garlic. Shepherd’s Pie
For Sunday night dinner this week I decided to make shepherd’s pie. This is definitely one of my favorite dishes that is super simple to make, as long as you can make mashed potatoes and brown ground beef of course. I like to add in onions, carrots, peas and corn and then right before you throw it in the oven, top it with some cheddar cheese.
Chicken Francaise
I like to make this quite frequently because it’s so simple to make. You simply fry the chicken in oil and just mix white wine, chicken broth, and lemon to make the sauce. I love to make some pasta which requires just a little extra sauce and then homemade garlic bread is always a plus.
Having a sweet tooth late at night and need a solution? I always keep marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers so I can roast a marshmallow over the stove and make some s’mores. Nom Nom Nom
